Amsterdam, Netherlands (May 28, 2024) – Realterm, an independent global investment manager focused on the transportation industry, announced today that Datrans Nederland B.V. has leased a 3,960-square-meter IOS site at Tasmanweg 1 in Venlo, Netherlands. Datrans Nederland, which specializes in transport between the Netherlands and Switzerland, signed a lease until December 2032.
Realterm acquired Tasmanweg 1 last year. The 39,887-square-meter facility is situated at one of the main gateways for logistics flows from the Netherlands to other European countries, mainly Belgium and Germany. The property’s strategic location offers excellent accessibility to the A67 and A73 highways and sits in close proximity to rail and inland terminals.
“Since acquiring Tasmanweg 1, we’ve seen strong demand for our available space which is not surprising given that Venlo is the top-performing logistics hub in the Netherlands,” said Robin van der Sluis, Asset Manager, Realterm. “With more than two million square meters of logistics space, and a vacancy rate of less than one percent, logistics providers can reach more than 19 million people within a 100km radius making Venlo a pivotal pan-European transportation and distribution center.”
