London, U.K. (October 14, 2024) – Realterm, an independent global investment manager focused on the transportation industry, announced today that Ross Jones has joined the firm as Construction Manager based out of the firm’s London, United Kingdom office.
In this new role, Ross will lead Realterm’s construction and renovation projects across Europe. His oversight will span from preparation to final execution, enhancing Realterm’s project delivery and commercial management throughout the region.
“Ross is skilled in complex project and commercial management, comprehensive evaluations and brings a keen eye for detail which will help our projects meet rigorous industry standards, comply with the various European regulatory requirements and achieve our ESG and sustainability objectives as we focus on both existing assets to be re-positioned with modern ESG features as well as new developments,” said Paul Underwood, Managing Director, International Funds, Realterm. “We are delighted to welcome Ross to our growing team as we continue to place an emphasis on expanding into key European markets for sustained growth throughout the continent.”
Ross is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and brings more than a decade of distinguished experience in construction and commercial management to his new role. He most recently served as Director of the Birmingham, UK Quantity Surveying team at CBRE Limited, a global leader in commercial real estate services and investments. Prior to this, Ross was an Associate with Quantem Consulting and a Project Surveyor at AECOM. Ross earned a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying from Birmingham City University.
Ross’ hiring underscores Realterm’s dedication to growing its European portfolio, with Christian Siegmund’s hiring as Head of Investments in the DACH region and the recent acquisitions in Croydon, a borough in south London, as well as in Venlo and Waalwijk in the Netherlands.
